We’ve been baking bread right here in North Adelaide for over a century, and every loaf that leaves our oven carries the care, tradition and flavour we’re known for.
Whether you’re after something hearty, rustic or subtly sweet, our range of sourdoughs and artisan loaves has something for everyone. Here are a few you can’t miss:
Sourdough White – Square or Vienna Loaf
This one is an all ‘round favourite! Naturally fermented for two days, our White Loaves are super soft and fluffy on the inside, crisp on the outside and completely free of preservatives and added gluten.
The Square Loaf is great for sandwiches – stack it high with your favourite cold cuts and cheeses – or, it’s also the perfect option for a classic fairy bread delight.
If you’re going with the Vienna Loaf, all you need is a bit of balsamic vinegar and olive oil, and you’ve got yourself an irresistible dinner party starter.
Sourdough Rye – Square or Vienna Loaf
Our Rye Loaves deliver when you’re looking for something heavier and heartier.
This loaf is the perfect option to pair with charcuterie or strong cheeses like parmesan, gorgonzola and cheddar. It’s even a classic at breakfast time with some freshly sliced avocado on top.
Sourdough Olive & Rosemary – Vienna Loaf
Another one for the savoury lovers – our Olive & Rosemary is an absolute winner! Think briny olives and fragrant rosemary folded into our signature sourdough.
A delicacy to enjoy on its own, toasted with a little drizzle of olive oil or alongside a bowl of your favourite soup in the winter time.
Sourdough Fruit Buns
The perfect after school snack, morning pick-me-up or everyday treat with the tang of sourdough and the sweetness of dried fruit – our Fruit Buns are divine.
We start with the same naturally fermented sourdough base you know and love – made with local ingredients and a slow-rise process that develops a delicious flavour and beautiful texture.
We love them toasted with a little butter and a drizzle of honey. They’re also great sliced in half with a dollop of cream and jam like a makeshift scone!
Sourdough Fig & Fennel – Vienna Loaf
A little bit of sweet and a little bit of spice, if you haven’t already, you need to try our Fig & Fennel Loaf!
It might seem like an unexpected flavour combo, but the sweetness of the dried figs and the gentle spice of the fennel seeds bring out bold, incredible flavours.
You should try this one with a smear of goat’s cheese and a drizzle of honey; with some blue cheese spread on top and crushed walnuts; or as is – you can’t go wrong.
Sourdough Breadstick
Our Breadstick is everything it should be: long, golden and crackling with that deliciously crispy crust you can only get from the perfect bake at Perryman’s. Inside? It’s airy and soft, just the way it should be.
It’s a winner for lunch – pack it with prosciutto, rocket, fresh mozzarella, balsamic vinegar and a sprinkle of salt. Or, cut it into crostini rounds, brush with olive oil and bake them for 10 minutes – an antipasto favourite!
