A Year to Remember – Thank You 2025!
As we step into a new year, January gives us a rare moment to pause. The ovens are still working hard, the early mornings continue and the rhythm of the bakery carries on, but there’s space to look back on what was an extraordinary year for Perryman’s Bakery.
2025 will forever hold a special place in our history as the year we celebrated 100 years of baking on Tynte Street.
Standing in the same building where generations of bakers have worked before us was a beautiful reminder of the responsibility and pride that comes with carrying on this tradition – celebrating our centenary alongside our community was a moment we’ll never forget.
While the 100-year celebrations were a highlight, it was also the smaller moments that truly defined the year.
The familiar faces who stop by each morning for a coffee and a chat. The families introducing a new generation to gingerbread babies. The quiet smiles exchanged across the counter during the busiest lunch rush. These everyday moments are the heart of Perryman’s and they’re what keep us going each year.
The past year was also a reminder of the incredible people behind the scenes. Our bakers who arrive before sunrise, our front-of-house team who greet every customer with warmth and our baristas who keep the coffee flowing, no matter how busy the day becomes. Their dedication, care and pride in their work are what make Perryman’s what it is.
We are deeply grateful to our community for allowing us to be part of your daily routines and your special occasions. From quick weekday lunches to family gatherings and milestone celebrations – your support, loyalty and kind words are felt every single day.
As we look ahead for this year, we remain committed to the same values that have guided Perryman’s for a century – quality baking, traditional recipes and a genuine connection with our community.
Thank you for being part of our story, for sharing in our milestones and for supporting us through every season. Here’s to the memories and moments we’ve made, both big and small, and the many years of baking still to come.
